About Us
Our photography club has an extensive programme including presentations from top class photographers, covering all genres as well as club competitions throughout the season which runs from September to June.
All competitions are appraised by a suitably qualified judge, who will give helpful critique of each image.
We have regular club day outings, usually once a month, as well as a small number of extended 4-5 day trips to locations further afield such as the Lake District.
Come along to our club evenings and be ensured of a friendly welcome. We meet on a Tuesday evening at 20:00-22:00 in the Chantry Centre just off Billericay High Street.

Presentation by Marion Sidebottom MA, ARPS, RHS Gold & Silver Gilt titled - Botanical Studio Photography
Learn how to create stunning close-up images of plants, seed heads and other botanical subjects in a simple indoor
studio that you can recreate at home using minimal equipment. The talk will start with inspiration from past and
present botanical photographers and then talk about different studio set ups and how to set up your camera for
close-up and macro photography.

Open Evening
We are thrilled to welcome professional nature photographer and tutor Daniel Bridge as our guest speaker
for our next club meeting on Tuesday 10th November.
To make the most of our time with him, we are putting together a Q&A session. Whether you want to pick
his brain about close-up and macro nature shots, his minimalist composition styles, or his practical tips for
mastering camera settings, we want to hear from you!
