Each school were lent cameras purchased with a gratefully received donation from the ‘Billericay Round Table’ and Photofold members visited the schools to give encouragement and help. The theme was “School Activities”. Those taking part were pupils between the age 7 and 11.
The entries have been judged by Chris Thurman an experienced independent judge and the Prize Giving was held on Saturday 7th September 2019 in the Billericay Children’s Library area, children that were awarded first second and third place received their photographs printed and framed.
Each school submitted 10 photographs giving a total of 30 altogether which will be on display for a week or two in Billericay Library from Friday 6th September 2019.
