Chatham Historic Dockyard Outing
25th February 2019
10 of us went to the Chatham Historic Dockyard , a very good location and perfect weather. Quite difficult to get very original shots but our members usually surprise me. The submarine tour was very good and others liked the rope warehouse.
At lunch we drove to Upnor, to the Tudor Rose. The village is very characteristic and it was a good lunch with the usual discussions and banter.
After lunch some went back to the Dockyard while others went to the Isle of Grain. We had a long walk to find the Hans Egede wreck on the island but when we got there the light wasn’t at the right angle. But that is how it goes. We enjoyed the walk and the whole trip.
