Gunners Park 31 Jan 2019
Ten members went to Gunners Park and Shoeburyness. Some of us got to the submarine boom at Shoeburyness just before sunrise. It was very cold, thick frost but no wind so the sea was perfectly calm at high tide.
Later we moved to Gunners Park and there were quite a few photograph ideas – frost covered teasels, ruined buildings, groynes in the sea and plenty of bird life.
Coffee in Great Wakering and later lunch in Angel Inn.
After that we went back to Shoeburyness at low tide but the wind had strengthened so that was more of a challenge.
