October 2018 Outing

16 of us went to Windsor Great Park on Monday 29th October.

We chose a good day for the weather. A sunny day, quite cold but not too bad, and very light wind. The journey could have been better but only about a half hour delay on the M25! Some had a better journey.

We started at Virginia Water, and hoped there would be some autumn colours but the weather has been too mild. An attractive area but difficult to find some good photographs .. for me at least.

Later we went to the Savill Garden, and there were plenty of things to photograph. At last some autumn colours, plenty of different trees, gunneras, sculptures and greenhouses.

And there was a bonus – we had a good trip home, with no delays on the M25.
