Mersea Island Outing Thursday 26 April 2018
Nine of us went on the outing.
Some left at 6.30 am in order to get there with the sun coming up over the beach huts. But as always it is hard to get an original shot. There were some kite surfers and surfboard surfers, always good if they come close to the shore.
We moved to the west and took shots of the boats on the beach. Some of us went on a boat trip round the harbour, enjoyable but not great for photography.
Lunch at the Coast Inn, enjoyed the food and always a lot of friendly banter.
In the afternoon we went to the east to Cudmore Grove country park. The tide was out so there were many fences on the sands, installed to prevent erosion.
Headed home in late afternoon after a great day out.
