Rochester Outing Report
15 of us went to Rochester on Monday 17th July. Some of us left earlier and it was a good move. The Cathedral was very happy for us to use tripods and take photographs but warned it would be very busy later on. We had a good time in the Cathedral then moved on to the Castle. That was challenging for photography as there was a lot of scaffolding around.
Most of us went to Olivers Restaurant for a very pleasant and relaxing meal.
The weather was good and then we split up. Most of us went to Upnor Castle, a very small village and castle, but full of character, a few miles from Rochester. It inspired me but not so much for the others.
