2019 Art Trail Schools Photographic Competition
Every year Photofold Camera Club organises a ‘Schools Photographic Competition’ for 7 to 11 year olds. In 2018, twenty one new cameras were purchased for the schools to use. This was made possible due to a gratefully received donation from the Billericay Round Table.
The theme for 2019 was ‘School Activities’
Three schools took part in 2019 and the photographs were on display at the Billericay library during September in the children’s section. The awards were presented by the competition judge Chris Thurman at the library on Saturday 7th September 2019. To view images from this year’s presentation please click on the image below.
Photofold Camera Club 2019 Annual Exhibition
The ‘Photofold’ Annual Photography Exhibition was held on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st of August 2019 at ‘The Fold’ in Billericay and was open to the public on both days until 5pm. Prints as well as Digital images were on display. The exhibition was well attended on both days.
The photograph below shows Barry Harrington receiving the ‘Photographer of the Year’ trophy presented by Mike Fuller who judged the exhibition entries for 2019.
